The MDG Carbon Facility offers a comprehensive package of project development services for developing greenhouse gas emission reduction projects and bringing them to market. The Facility works with projects in a wide range of sectors and in locations across the world, leveraging the United Nations Development Programme’s global presence and environmental expertise. The Facility aims to expand the carbon market into under-represented countries and regions, attract substantial direct investment from the private sector, and support emission reduction projects which benefit the Millennium Development Goals.
